Fancy Vans Mobility was opened in 1974 due to an unforeseen situation that I was faced with at the early age of 19. My husband was told he would be confined to a wheelchair and would be a paraplegic. At that time there was no internet and I didn't have any knowledge of the products or services that would benefit him and help with his daily challenges. Life became much more difficult for both of us and were forced to take one day at a time. After my experience, I decided I wanted to share my knowledge and help other become mobile. Putting my desire to be a hairdresser on hold, I began my journey and set out to make the lifestyle transition easier for the family members as well as the handicapped. I was very fortunate to have Steve Clontz join the company. For the past 38 years, he has shown the same dedication towards helping those in need as I have.
